I thought I'd look into the educational background of Davis Guggenheim since he took the time to create a who documentary about the failing school system in the US. I found it interesting that someone who went a private Quaker school was able to relate to the inner city kids who attend publically funded institutions. He mentions in the film that he belives in the public school system at the beginning of the film but then later goes on to admit that he doesn't even send his kids to one.
