A New Year

Shirley Steinberg's picture

Beloved ones, a full year has passed, much has happened.  We have lost loves and gained new ones.  I wish you all the very best and blessings...With radical love, we will gain more by our commitments to those in need, those who don't have the luxuries we have...even by being able to read a post on the Internet.  Thank you from the bottom of my soul for the love, support, and thoughts you have given to me and the kids this year.  We are ok....we are progressing....and we will continue.  Please continue to support our website and contribute to the blogs.
This year we will reorganize The International Journal of Critical Pedagogy and add bloggers.  Jon Austin from Queensland will be working with me in expanding our global community.  One of the most amazing things about our site is the fact that we now have so many critical friends globally, and that we are able to connect with one another for the personal, the political, the pedagogical, and the human.
With love, peace, abrazos,
Shirley

Happy New Year radical love

Hello Dr. Shirley,
I just wanted to respond to your above posting by wishing you and yours a very happy New Year. You have survived so much over the last year, and you had a very prosperous decade. And, you and Joe had provided many others with wonderful opportunities and mentoring. I am humbled to be a part of your global community/love force. I will tell anybody and the world that you not only write about, teach about, and theorize about radical love, you are radical love.
Graciously,
Venus
